A graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law, Jan Lord began practicing law in 1983. Home grown, mostly, in northern Colorado, she and her family have lived in Berthoud for 23 years. In 2006, she brought her elder law practice home to Berthoud, where she strives to serve the community with compassion and understanding.
As she looked to begin a new chapter in her life, Jan met Gabe McFarland. Jan knew that, with his small-town background and passion for estate planning, Gabe was a perfect fit for the Berthoud practice. While Jan is no longer actively practicing law, she acts as an emeritus attorney and a resource for Gabe as he provides the day-to-day service to the community.
